NEET 2026 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as a single-phase, pen-and-paper (offline) examination. The exam is expected to be held in May 2026, with the official notification and application form likely to be released in December 2025. NEET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026. No upper age limit.
- Qualifying Examination: Must have passed or appeared in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
- Minimum Marks: General: 50%, SC/ST/OBC: 40%, PwD: 45% in PCB subjects.
- Number of Attempts: No limit.
