Latest Updates of JEE 2026
JEE 2026 will be held in two phases: Session 1 in January and Session 2 in April. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam. The official notification is expected in November 2025. Students who are currently in Class 12 or have already passed Class 12 can apply for one or both sessions. The better of the two scores will be considered for admission.
The JEE 2026 syllabus will be based on Class 11 and 12 NCERT topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam pattern is expected to remain the same as previous years. Registration is expected to begin in the first week of November 2025.
Organizing Institutes
JEE Main 2026 will be conducted by NTA. JEE Advanced 2026 is likely to be organized by IIT Roorkee. This follows the rotation policy of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) among the IITs.

WBJEE 2026 Overview
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2026 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering and technology courses in West Bengal. It is usually held in April every year and conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Should have passed or appeared in Class 12 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject.
- Minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories).
- Must have obtained at least 30% marks in English in Class 12.
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December 2026. No upper age limit (except for Marine Engineering: max 25 years).
